Separation related issues in our pets – identifying and treating these problems

This was a very interesting and informative webinar organised by the British Small Animal Veterinary Association and presented by Daniel Simon Mills, FRCVS, an English biologist and the UK’s first Professor of Veterinary Behavioural Medicine based at the University of Lincoln. Separation anxiety is a distressing behaviour problem with serious consequences for the owner as well as the pet. Dogs with this disorder exhibit exaggerated signs of anxiety when they do not have access to family members.
